Please note that rather than doing this prix fixe, we’ve decided to leave this as an open format, pay-as-you-go, event, so you can come by anytime from 5pm to 11pm and have as much or as little as you wish!
Everything will be locally sourced, as is our regular menu.

ââ¬Â¢ Fraenkische Kartoffelsuppe (a traditional Franconian Potato Soup)

ââ¬Â¢ Fleischkuechla (Minced meat dumplings)
ââ¬Â¢ Bierhaxen (Pork knuckles)
Snacks
ââ¬Â¢ Blaue Zipfel (Sausages!)
ââ¬Â¢ Schlenkerla Kaese (Cheese!)
ââ¬Â¢ Baggers with Smoked Trout (A mysterious potato-based German dish that sounds amazing)
There will be several Schlenkerla beers on tap, including a wooden cask of something smoky and great… we can’t wait!!!
BTW: This is funny… Schlenkerla roughly translates as “dangling”. Schlenkern is a German verb meaning to swing or to dangle. The -“la” suffix is typical of the Franconian dialect. The name reportedly originated with a previous owner of the brewery who possessed a hobbling gait. An image of this hobbling brewer can be seen in the designs on the Aecht Schlenkerla Rauchbier bottle.
