The Joy of Cheese Presents Pecorinos, Pyrenees and Pilsners at dba Brooklyn

September 14, 2010, Tuesday at 7:30 PM - 8:45 PM

Mind Your P’s! The Joy of Cheese launches its Sheepy September with a celebration of firm sheep cheese from France and Italy (anyone got a problem with that?) and Pilsners, the great Bohemian pale lagers. They are a natural pair: gentle sweet, buttery and herbal flavors from the cheese, gently hoppy aroma and flavor from the beer. Please join us Tuesday September 14 at 7:30 at d.b.a Brooklyn, 113 N. 7th St. (between Berry and Wythe). I’ll present seven cheeses and d.b.a. owner Ray Deter will present seven pilsners that he has chosen to pair with the cheeses. Tickets are $25.
