I was waiting for this to happen. I live in Boston all year and spend my summer in NYC. I rely on this site to pick my bars. A good bar near Kenmore is Cornwall’s.
Lots of bars in Boston carry the same boring beers distributed by United Liquor or Horizon Beverage. Your coverage would help us find the bars that carry other beers than Stella, Heiniken, Harpoon, Coors, Miller, and Budweiser. Please add Boston!
I second Cornwall’s. Another good place is The Lower Depths Tap Room, also in Kenmore.
I would love to see a Beer Menu site for Boston!
I just discovered this site in a search to see where Harpoon Glacier might be on tap in the greater Boston area.
I vote for Boston as well.
Boston is one of the biggest beer cities on the east coast and should definitely be covered on Beermenus.
I’d recommend adding it pronto and making these places your first additions:

I just moved from New York to Boston, and one of the things I miss most is the super-handy list of what’s on tap and where! I’d love to see a Boston edition.
Boston-ish to the NY border has GREAT beer.
As noted above Publick House in Brookline is fantastic, however their Roadhouse concept a few blocks away is shut, being reopened as American Craft! http://www.wickedlocal.com/brookline/features/x…
Allston has Deep Ellum http://www.deepellum-boston.com/
Cambridge with Redbones http://www.redbones.com/brews.html
Ashland with Stones Public House http://www.stonespublichouse.com/
Worcester with the related Dive Bar (domestic micros) and Armsby Abbey (Belgian) http://armsbyabbey.com/
Amherst with Moan and Dove http://www.moananddove.com/
Plenty between all of these.
Boston:
Otherside Cafe
Deep Ellum
Sunset Grill
Common Ground
Brookline:
Publick House
American Craft
Cambridge:
Cambridge Common
Lord Hobo
John Harvard’s
Redbones
Atwoods
Cambridge Brewing Company
I purposely left off Bukowski and Lower Depths because I’m completely done with bars that charge obscenely high prices for beer. (eg $18 for a Pretty Things beer that is 7 or 8 in the stores and maybe 10 – 12 anywhere else and $7.50 for a 12 oz pour of a Sixpoint IPA. $14 for a small Chimay!!! Just greedy IMO.)
I love all the places already mentioned, but I have to throw a random out there myself!
Tavern at the End of the World (Charlestown): http://tavernattheendoftheworld.com
Absolutely agree with Tavern at the End of the World! There are also several good places in Jamaica Plain: Vee Vee, Brendan Behan, The Haven (just opened).
Boston should be definitely be the next city on here. I forged my love for beer in Boston and recently moved to NYC. Beer Menus is my homepage, lol.
If I had a site like this in Boston, it would have been very helpful.
All the above mentioned places need to get love, with a special mention to Deep Ellum.
They had a keg of Pliny the Elder as recently as summer 2009. For those who don’t know, getting that keg this far east is a true accomplishment.
Boston needs to be on BeerMenus…NOW!
