Try Cafe Joie for great beers in Mission Beach. They just started selling Acai Wheat Beer, its to die for.

Another city that I feel is not getting enough love. Not only is San Diego one of the best cities in America, it is home to the highest concentration of awesome breweries in the world. And this coming from an Iowa boy. 720 for Harrisburg and only 8 for San Diego? Get with it people.

Some of my favorite west coast IPAs come from SD. And yet – when I visit (frequently) for work none of the restaurants that visit serve anything interesting.
BeerMenu for San Diego would help me more than beer menu for my home town (where I already know where to go…)

Because the west coast, San Diego particularly, has become a big IPA brewery location. So people here like great micro-brews.
