Beer Description
A Dark Braggot beer brewed with honey.
Weyerbacher Sixteen, was released to commemorate the brewery’s 16th Anniversary. This Dark Braggot Ale hits the mark in flavor and complexity, while delivering yet another gold medal winning offering. The brewers at Weyerbacher dump over a half pound of Pennsylvanian honey in each gallon of beer produced. Much of this honey ferments to add to the already impressive grain bill of Carmel, Crystal, Munich, and Chocolate malts pushing the ABV to a hefty 10.5%. The honey is evident on the pallet, however, it comes across with wonderful fruit and spice on the nose and the a surprisingly dry finish.
