Beer Description

This Flanders red with sour cherry juice added pours a clear, dark ruby color with a dense pink head that lingers.

Tart cherry aromas are front and center, with supporting notes of red apple, barnyard hay, oaky spice and earthy funk. The sour characteristics come forward on the light-weight palate, with lifting lemony acidity that carries through to the mouthwatering finish. Layers of toasted oak, clean malt, ripe plum and juicy cherry flesh out the mouthfeel, lending ample balance and richness to this otherwise bright and zippy brew.
