Beer Description
Kinkajou, named for the nocturnal (and undeniably adorable) honey bear, is our lightly-hopped interpretation of the classic German hefeweizen. To achieve this, we combine German ingredients with the honey malt which adds complexity and fleshes out the body of the beer with a unique sweetness. The honey malt we have chosen is Canadian Gambrinus, named in honor of a European cultural brewing hero who was a symbol of beer consumption and joviality — and we are certain he would approve of this delicious Honey Weiss.
