Beer Description
Collaboration with Cigar City Brewing (Tampa, FL) – Jeff and his team have known the boys at Cigar City for a couple of years, and have been itching to work with them on a collaboration. The name derives from a poem written by Edna St. Vincent Millay, which has dark undertones in its context that fit perfectly with the almost pitch black color of this beer. “The Wise and the Lovely” is a strong stout brewed with lactose and cocoa nibs from Brazil.
