Beer Description
Breezy Season is a hybrid of the Saison and Biere de Garde brewing traditions. Aromatic and spicy, it has an enhanced caramel maltiness typical of the Biere de Garde style, while fermentation with a Saison yeast lends peppery, clove-like, and fruity characteristics. Three months in French oak barrels from Windy Oaks Winery adds soft vanilla notes as well as complimentary caramel and baking spice character. The result is this elegant farmhouse beer that balances the roles of malt, yeast, and barrel.
