Blended from cast off barrels of robust aged stouts, these outliers comprise – The Black Whale – a unique, annual blend of barrel aged beers fermented and conditioned with various techniques using Brettanomyces and souring bacteria. Never replicated, always individual, this years blend features complex flavors of dark fermented fruit and oak with funky, tart character, hints of vanilla and caramelized brown sugar with an invigorating sour finish.
