Beer Description
Once a year we get together with our friends Trillium Brewing Company and brew in Brooklyn, this time we decided not only try and make an awesome beer but run a little sensory experiment. We decided to brew Triangle Test Imperial IPA using three different hop products. All the base beer is the same.
Triangle Test with T-90 Citra Hop Pellets is brewed with Golden Promise malt and 30% flaked oats. Itβs hopped 100% with Citra T-90 and receives 2 dry hop additions. T-90 pellets are made by taking whole hops and milling them to powder before reforming them into pellets which retains roughly 90% of the original hop material.
