Beer Description
Our first attempt at a slightly sour ale. The mash was soured with acid ulster malt (the base is Franco-Belge Pale). Bittered with German Northern Brewer hops (courtesy of the Brewer’s Art) and Czech Saaz and fermented with Union Brewery’s Alt yeast with the addition of puréed tart red cherries. The beer is naturally cloudy with a pleasing dryness and slight sour/tart finish.
