Beer Description

his hazy, juicy NE-style IPA is loaded with tropical fruits like pineapple, mango and passion fruit.

Crafted by Virginia homebrewer, Rodger Thurlow, Hop’Easter won the Gold Medal at Starr Hill’s 2017 IPA JamBEERee Homebrew Competition. This batch was brewed on Starr Hill’s full-scale production system, using a near replication of Thurlow’s original recipe, to bring his IPA to life. Massive amounts of dry-hopping before fermentation accentuates hop aroma and flavor without adding bitterness, as compared to regular India Pale Ales. This hazy, juicy NE-style IPA is loaded with tropical fruits like pineapple, mango and passion fruit. The malts rounds out the experience with a smooth mouthfeel that really emphasizes the hops.
