Beer Description
Collaboration with Alvarado Street. Hazy IPA with Galaxy, Mosaic and Strata hops.
This beer features a high amount of wheat and malted oats for a fluffy and soft mouthfeel. We utilized a water profile that JC at Alvarado likes for his hazy beers with the intention of creating a medium-full palate but not cloyingly sweet. JC brought a strain of yeast that’s known for giving off peach and apricot aromas and it really complements the hops well.
Fun fact: During the brew, a sales rep from Indie Hops came by with some samples so we busted into them. We all fell in love with some Oregon grown Strata, and JC immediately bought the last box they had available and they were in the dry hop 8 days later. There’s a lot going on in this beer aromatically: tons of yellowstone/tropical fruits and a lot of fresh zested citrus.
