We were lucky enough get wet hops from @akiyamahopyard located south of Watsonville, California. Originally a carnation nursery for 43 years, this 3rd generation family owned and operated farm switched their focus from one flower to another.
Flower to Flower showcases chinook and casacade hops that were introduced to a finished golden sour beer and steeped for 2 weeks. With a bouquet of orange peel, grapefruit, lemon pith, with hint of pine and black pepper, this wet hop golden sour is expressive of hop aroma with a low acidity and smooth finish.
