Beer Description
Uses pomegranate molasses instead of the usual candi sugar. A more aromatically complex sugar source that adds different dried fruit aromatics.
If an integral part to the myriad of aromatic layers of a good dubbel is born of post-Maillard beets turned into candi sugar and added pre-fermentation, what happens if we sub-out pomegranate molasses? AUG 2 does exactly that. A similar, but more aromatically complex sugar source, adding a different wrinkle on the dried fruit aromatics of an otherwise traditional dubbel.
