2018 Silver Medal Winner – World Beer Cup
A European Farmhouse Ale, using an old world method of mashing malt with Barley straw in an oak barrel. Lightly hopped with Czech Saaz, fermented in our favorite barrel WB-11. This barrel has been home to 14 different beers, building a ‘barrel culture’ through inoculations of wild yeasts including brettanomyces claussenii, lambicus, and bruxellensis. This very special beer was entered into the Historical Beer category at the World Beer Cup and we fell off our rockers when we won a Silver Medal!
