Beer Description
Light in color with lemon zest and sage building to ripe stone fruit, water cracker and white pepper, it has direct but dissipating acid and a relaxed presence.
Shallow Back Mixed Culture Berliner Weisse was brewed with undermodified barley and wheat and fermented in neutral oak with our house ale yeast and lactobacillus plantarum before being bottle conditioned for three months. Light in color with lemon zest and sage building up to ripe stone fruit, water cracker and white pepper, it has direct but quickly dissipating acid and an overall relaxed presence.
