Beer Description
Our Brown Ale with the addition of house-smoked local wild hops, and even some more smokiness added through our “Proprietary Newburgh Brewing Smoking Process”. A really nice twist on our Brown Ale, with a pronounced smokiness that compliments the rich and roasted body of Newburgh Brown. The addition of the smoked hops in Smokey the Beer adds a beautiful smoke character that balances incredibly well with the rich and roasted character of our Brown Ale. Using our in-house smoker, the local wild hops were smoked over Hickory and Applewood. Smokey the Beer says: ”only YOU can prevent friends from drinking bad beer”!
