Wine Description
Walnut Hill is a patchwork of small vineyards lying within the Eola-Amity Hills AVA. Some of the best Pinot noir in Oregon is produced from this hill side. Near the top of the hill is En Gedi Vineyard, the source of grapes for this wine. En Gedi is characterized by shallow volcanic soils and cool nights: the perfect formula for outstanding Oregon Pinot noir. One of our two Vineyard Designate wines, our Walnut Hill Pinot noir is a lush, complex wine with layers of fruit and pleasant acidity. It is fermented with native yeast, aged for one year in French oak and bottled unfiltered and unfined. Very limited production.
