Beer Description
We had a blast brewing this beer with our good friends at Promised Land out of Gilroy. Eric Ingram, the owner of Promised Land, and Jon grew up together in Morgan Hill, attending the same elementary school, Paradise Valley (Go Pirates!). We were stoked to collaborate with them on this West Coast IPA and brew it here at Narrative. Murphy’s Peak is crisp and clean with a moderate bitterness, dry hopped with gobs of Simcoe, Motueka, Citra, and a new hop for us, Pacific Sunrise, out of New Zealand. The flavor profile hits a fairly wide range, from pine, citrus, tropical fruit, and even a little bit of dank with a nice lingering resinous quality.
