Beer Description

CITRUS | TROPICAL | STONE FRUIT We are gearing up for the 2021 Summer Olympics this year by brewing up a special series of Olympic Tribute brews. Each month leading up to the opening ceremonies in July we will be dropping a new brew to honor one of our nation’s greatest Olympic athletes! The second beer in the Olympic Tribute Series was brewed to commemorate one of the most athletic and decorated US olympians of all time, the legendary Carl Lewis. Throughout his illustrious career, Carl Lewis competed in four Olympic Games (1979 — 1996) and won 9 gold medals and a silver medal in four different track & field events — 100m dash, 200m dash, 4×100m relay, and long jump. He is the only man in history to win the Olympic long jump title four consecutive times. Carl Lewis has been accoladed as the “Olympian of the Century” by Sports Illustrated and “Sportsman of the Century” by the International Olympic Committee. This big Imperial NEIPA is dangerously drinkable with minimal bitterness, a soft, medium-bodied mouthfeel, and a juicy finish featuring fruity El Dorado, Samba, and Cascade hop flavors. We get notes of hand squeezed orange juice, tangerines, ripe mango chunks, halved grapefruit sprinkled with sugar, sweet peach preserves, tropical guava, and fresh nectarines.
