Beer Description
Ix Chel, the Mayan moon goddess. Also known as the jaguar goddess of midwifery and medicine. We all need things in our life, and what better medicine is there than coffee? We worked with CT staple, J.Rene Coffee Roasters to dose this bad momma with his finest Sumatra Kerinci coffee beans. The base beer brings a subtle smooth roasty character, followed by the silky sweetness of the lactose addition. When the coffee was added we got huge bursts of apricot, cherry, sweet honey, and a balanced acidity. The combination of the two really showcases all of the delicate nuances of both the coffee and the beer.
