Beer Description
Foudre-Aged Bock
Inwards we look, staring at our truth. Thinking we will find something, but the content is missing. A blank slate to draw whatever we please. Here we drew a complex malt bill of German Munich, Pilsner, Caramel and Melanoidin malts to lay a deeply thoughtful base for the spicy and mild citrus character of Czech Saaz hops. This bock was then laid to a cold rest for a month in our American oak foudre to further refine it. Sit with a pint and experience deep tones of oak mixing with dark fruits, amber honey drizzled over whole wheat toast, and a subtle winter’s spice rounded out with orange zest.
