Beer Description
In keeping with our tradition of creating two unique beers out of one, the base beer was brewed with a 2-row blend, raw and malted wheat and oats, hopped with a blend of Northern Brewer, Nelson Sauvin and Glacier hops and 100% fermented in Portuguese Douro wine barrels. Tweeling (Dutch for “Twin”) is a straw colored ale brewed fermented with Dutch Castle yeast. The finished beer has a pleasant fruity aroma with hints of pear, pineapple and an herbal note in the background. The fruit continues though the flavor with the addition of a mild biscuity character. Full mouthfeel and dry, lingering bitterness.
