Greenport Harbor Anniversary #2: California Common

In celebration of Greenport Harbor Brewing Co’s second anniversary, we reached back to the origins of our craft in the United States and brewed the original American craft beer. Brewing our Anniversary #2: California Common Lager is not only a shift away from the perfumed Belgian-style blond ale that we brewed in celebration of our first anniversary, it is a shift toward the brewing tradition which we are proud to be a part. Brewed with Briess malts from our nation’s Heartland, hops from the Pacific Northwest, yeast from San Francisco, in our tiny brewery on the East End of Long Island, this hoppy golden-amber lager captures the essence of what drew us all to craft beer. Balanced, yet distinctive, we hope you enjoy this, and our other offerings, as much as we enjoy brewing them (if not there’s always Anniversary #3 next year).
