Beer Description
This winning blend combines our sour rye beer with our malty anniversary ale along with sweet dates, spicy cinnamon and earthy anise.
Mélange #11 was created by your peers at a special blending competition held for our Hoarders Society members. The mingled character of this tart and malty beer is like no beer that we have thought of before. Strong licorice flavors waft out the glass, but are subdued by the tartness of the sour beer and the sweet, cake-like flavors that the dates and cinnamon create. This is a phenomenal beer and a testament to the creativity of our Society members.
