Beer Description
Rock Brothers Brewing Company has announced plans to brew JJ Grey’s own custom craft beer, a special “Nare Sugar Brown” Ale, available this November. JJ is the second musical act to partner with Rock Brothers Brewing, the Tampa Bay-based company, that is creating microbrews for musicians around the country.
“JJ’s grandfather drank coffee without sugar, or ‘nare sugar’ as he called it,” according to Kevin Lilly, a co-founder Rock Brothers, “and that phrase stuck with JJ throughout his life.” He said Nare Sugar Brown has a sweetness to it, but is made without sugar. He called the name Nare Sugar Brown, “a perfect fit.”
