Beer Description
This Imperial Red IPA is the big brother to our standard Imperial IPA Howling Moon.
Clocking in at 9% and 97 ibus, it uses more hops than any other Wolf’s Ridge beer to date. Deep garnet in color with bold aromatics of pine, cherry, and citrus fruit from a healthy dosing of El Dorado and Simcoe hops. The addition of lactose sugar lends a mild sweetness to the flavor, which balances out the aggressive bitterness underlying the juicy tropical fruit flavor.
