Dirt Candy, the award-winning vegetable restaurant on the Lower East Side, is teaming up with Top Hops Beer Shop to deliver a 5-course vegetable feast on Tuesday, October 4th, to celebrate Oktoberfest. Every course is paired with a beer specially selected by Kevin Brooks of Top Hops Beer Shop, who will be on hand to answer questions and discuss the beers with our guests.
The menu includes:
- Garlic Pretzels with Creamy Mustard & Curry Ketchup!
- Icicle Radishes with Radish Pesto!
- A Pickle Plate!
- Our super-popular Fennel dish!
- Spinach Spaetzle with Sesame Spinach & Shiso Crème Fraîche!
- Forager’s Salad! Made of wild greens picked fresh from the mountains and forests of NY & NJ!
- Smoked Cauliflower & Waffles with Horseradish Sauce! (One of the most popular dishes from our original location, making a surprise reappearance tonight only!)
- Cucumber Semifreddo!
And of course there will be extra snacks because you can’t have beer without snacks.
The price is $120/person and that includes the tip.
Summer is over, winter is coming, so come fill your belly and drink some beer and party with us! You may think it’s strange to have an Oktoberfest feast without schnitzel, but trust us – you won’t miss it for a minute. We don’t want to make you healthy. We want to make you fat!
