We are very excited to announce that we will be hosting the Prison City Pub & Brewery team at Tørst on Tuesday, February 28th!
Prison City is a brewpub just a few hours from NYC in Central New York. Due to their size and popularity, they have all they can do to keep up with demand back home. As a result, you don’t see them in NYC very often except for festivals or special events. This sucks for our fair city, because their beers are awesome! But on to the good news…
We will be hosting the brewers and pouring their beers at Tørst on Tuesday 2/28! The final number of lines is TBD, but will likely be around 6. We are planning to pour several of their hoppy beers as well as few sours. As we get closer to the event, and the beers are finalized, I’ll update everyone here.
All beers will be tapped at noon for opening, so swing by for lunch while it’s quiet! The Prison City team will be in later that evening to hob-nob and talk about beer.
Unless you are planning a drive out to Auburn (which I’d also recommend!), this may be your best chance to try Prison City’s beers….so come join us on Tuesday the 28th and remind yourself how much fun it is to drink on a school night. (side note: if it is a literal school night for you, please hold your visit until you reach 21 years of age. Thanks!)
