A mere 30 minutes northwest of The Open Bottle, sits a brewery in Downer’s Grove, IL that we’ve been watching crank out consistently quality beers. With their recent endeavor into the world of canned beers, we thought it’s time we welcome the fine people of Alter Brewing Company to The Open Bottle!
Help us welcome Alter Brewing to The Open Bottle on Thursday, June 15th with a night of tappings, brewery swag, a can release, and meet the folks behind it all!
We’ll have 6pk cans of Alterior Motive IPA for $9.99 and pints on draft! King Balaton, their tart cherry wheat ale, will also be on draft. So come out for a pint and take home a 6pk!

“This IPA is built with 2 Row Pale, light Munich and crystal malts that balance the massive amount of hops used to create this beer. We bitter with Columbus and Centennial hops and then dry hop with over a pound per barrel of Citra and Simcoe for intense tropical and citrus aromas. Hop lovers rejoice!”
