The iconic Winter Garden at Brookfield Place will transform into a Winter Biergarten – hosting a competition among New York’s top breweries in the 5 Borough Challenge: Best Brews of NYC. Each week patrons will be treated to each breweries’ best beers, amazing food, live music and classic bar games, with beer proceeds benefiting Brookfield Place’s charitable partner, New Yorkers for Parks. A brewery from each borough will be given one night to give everything they’ve got. A total of 14 NYC breweries will be featured.
Patrons will then be asked to cast their all-important vote to decide the five breweries (one from each borough), that will make it to the final showdown on Thursday, March 15th. That night, we will announce the People’s Choice winner decided by the event’s attendees, and the Juror’s Choice determined by notable New York City beer connoisseurs, including Anne Becerra (New York’s first woman to become a Certified Cicerone) and Josh Bernstein.
Food will be available for purchase from Brookfield Place eateries Le District, PJ Clarke’s, and Parm.
