National Beer Day UK or “Beer Day Britain” is June 15th annually. Historically, this is also the date the ‘Magna Carta’ was sealed in the year 1215 and in clause 35 ale is mentioned. ‘Let there be throughout our kingdom a single measure for wine and a single measure for ale and a single measure for corn, namely ’the London quarter’. Driven by beer sommelier, writer & drinks educator Jane Peyton, the focus is to ‘Cheers to Beer’ and in typical British style have a good ol’ ‘singsong’ at 7 pm. Raise a pint and cheers to beer this Thursday 6/14 from 4-8pm, singing welcome!
