We have booked Murray the wheel for Friday April 10th show 6PM till about 10 PM
From Newtown Ct., Murray founded the band way back in 1982…in 1989 he released the album ROCKET EYES and went on to open for such acts as Johnny Winter , The Good Rats and Rick Derringer. Murray’s influences include Howlin Wolf, Muddy Waters , Robert Johnson as well as Hendrix, Clapton and Robin Trower. In addition the full band Murray fronts a solo acoustic version of The Wheel. In 2001 he released the CD BELLY FULL OF BLUES, in 2002 BLACK CAT TALE and LIVE IN WEST HAVEN. Gigging constantly, Murray has a well earned rep as a dynamic showman and one of the hardest working musicians in CT. We are hoping for another rousing version of hid song “Joe’s Filling Station Blues”. Please come out and join the fun!
