A triple distilled blended Irish Whiskey produced in Cork and made, unusually, with all three styles of Irish whiskey: single pot still, single malt and grain. First produced in 1779, it wasn't until 1913 that it changed it's name to Paddy after legendary salesman Paddy Flaherty. Before that it had the rather catchy name of "Cork Distilling Company Map of Ireland Old Irish Whiskey". Rolls right off the tongue that one.
Twelve’s Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey is an ultra-smooth blend of golden grain and single malt with hints of vanilla, honey and toasted wood for a rich complexity.

Taylor, Jr. Barrels are evaluated and selected to create a perfect blend of distinctive character that is like no other. This bourbon is a true sipping bourbon that honors the uncompromising legacy of E.H. Taylor, Jr.
A rich warming scent of toasted oak is instantly noticeable. This is unique for a rye, as oak usually isn’t the most powerful scent, simply because the majority of ongoing ryes on the market are relatively young. Rye spice, pepper, and baking spice follow, providing the typical rye notes one would expect. Interestingly, delicate scents of mint and pear are interwoven adding some freshness to the aroma. It’s an excellent nose overall that nicely balances the expected with the unexpected.
This small batch bottling (200 barrels per batch) is comprised of selected whiskeys 8-12 years of age. This no-age statement product was introduced in early 2016 to replace the 12-year age statement (a barrel illustration on the original label took place of the number 12). Later in the year, Heaven Hill redesigned its packaging again, with the year "1789" now embossed on the glass. It remains bottled at 94 proof.

This is the biggest, boldest, most robust release of Kentucky Owl to date. The nose has apple, cinnamon, warm cobbler crust, nutmeg, caramel, vanilla pudding pop, red pepper, spiced apple cider and cinnamon. Palate is a constant battle between sweet, rich, creamy & spice. The mouthfeel is strong, rich, syrupy and the finish stays with you, working its way from the spice on the back towards the front of the palate after each sip.
Kentucky Tavern has been around since the early 1900’s. The bourbon was named after a bar and restaurant in Louisville KY. It’s aged for a minimum of four years in charred, new American oak barrels. Not great but will get the Job done.
Notes of molasses, caramel, mint, and cherry cough syrup are delivered in a straightforward way. Its youthfulness is moderately noticeable on the nose as some chemical notes pop in and out, but they aren’t detrimental to the overall package. The nose just isn’t very memorable as its positive and even its negative characteristics don’t leave a lasting impact one way or the other. It largely comes down to the lack of intensity of the scents that hold this back and keep it from reaching even middle of the road levels.
At 86 proof, Old Forester delivers a genuine bourbon experience, with rich, full flavor and a smooth character that is ideal for sipping neat, on the rocks, with a splash of water or in a classic cocktail.

When it comes to wheated bourbons, this is the one that started them all... Well, William Larue Weller (the bourbon's namesake) is the one that started it. Special Reserve is the 'entry' bottling to the Weller line and a must have for anyone wanting to learn more about bourbon and it's different variations. Note: Can't find Pappy? What's in a name? When this rum-finished expression was first released in 2002, it was called Havana Reserve. This posed a problem with the United States as they have an embargo on Cuban products, even second hand. The name was eventually changed to Gran Reserva. An updated packaging design in 2016 included (yet again) another name change to Reserva Rum Cask Finish. Aged for 21 years in used American barrels, this spends its final four months in hand selected rum barrels from the Caribbean.

Drambuie is a whisky liqueur. A blend of aged Scotch whisky, spices, herbs & heather honey. Its origins can be traced to a secret recipe created for Bonnie Prince Charlie by his Royal Apothecary in the 18th Century. The name Drambuie is derived from Scots Gaelic ‘An Dram Buidheach’ and means “The Drink that Satisfies”.
According to the legend, its origins date back more than 300 years to the presence of Christian monks
living in the hills of the Piedmont region of northern Italy.
Their skills in fine food and drinks included the art of distilling, especially the use of the wild hazelnuts
and other precious ingredients to create liquor recipes such as the one on which Frangelico is based today.
Its name is also part of the same local legend - an abbreviation of Fra’ Angelico,
a hermit monk believed to have inhabited the magnificent Piedmont hills during the 18th century.
Jägermeister was created by Curt Mast in 1934 (confusingly, the company was established in 1878) and was first introduced to the US in 1974 by Sidney Frank. It is made from a collection of 56 botanicals including herbs, blossoms, roots, and fruits. The concoction ages in large German oak casks. Some classify this bitter herbal liqueur as an amaro, and since that category doesn't have any definitive rules, it isn't necessarily wrong to do so. Although the brand has been known in recent past as the perfect shot--particularly at ice-cold temperatures--current representatives encourage cocktail use.
Inspired by the innovative, everchanging drinks scene, we instinctively knew how a drop of Jägermeister and a backbeat of cold brew coffee could transform any night. The enviable result?
