Beer Description
Pils Malt and only noble hops for their ‘house’ beer. It pours a bright yellow color with a compact and rich head. The nose hints of herbal notes from the hops and floral sensations, as well as a subtle sweetness that suggests honey.
La “5”, named La Cinque (Batch No. 5) for the american market, is the flagship beer of L’Olmaia and the firstborn both at home and in the brewery. Complexity in simplicity: Pils Malt and only noble hops for their ‘house’ beer. It pours a bright yellow color with a compact and rich head. The nose hints of herbal notes from the hops and floral sensations, as well as a subtle sweetness that suggests honey. After the sweet opening, in the mouth, the hop bitterness comes in big strides, dominating the finish. A balanced, elegant and very drinkable beer. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, fermented in the bottle and keg.
