Beer Description
The orchard-fruit ester profile of our house hazy yeast combines w/ HBC 586 hops for notes of candied citrus, mango & background coconut. The generous use of wheat & oats creates a velvety, full-bodied mouthfeel.
Three way Hazy IPA with Trillium and Yakima Chief Hops, highlighting experimental hop HBC 586 in the context of an expressive fermentation. As expected, 586 complements the orchard-fruit ester profile of our house hazy yeast, pushing it’s candied citrus notes to the forefront of the aromatics. We’re also getting that unmistakable mango note, along with some background coconut vibes. Taking a queue from Trillium’s masterful New England IPA game, we’ve strived to replicate their brewery’s water profile, and employed a generous use of wheat & oats to create a velvety, full-bodied mouthfeel.
