For our next beer dinner, we are celebrating many things. First, we are celebrating the upcoming Holiday season. Second, we are celebrating our 3rd year anniversary of ownership of the Manchester Pub. Third, we are also celebrating our 1-year anniversary of our Beer Pairing Dinner series, which has become not only our most popular events here at the Manchester, but also considered by some to be the best Beer Pairing Dinner series in New York City.
The dinner will take place on Saturday December 10, 2011, and as a nod to Hudson’s and my ownership of the Manchester, we are proud to be featuring beers from Captain Lawrence Brewing Company and Hudson Whiskey from Tuthilltown Spirits. These craft brew and craft spirit darlings are based right here in our backyard in New York, and are favorites of ours at the Manchester Pub. We carry a rotating line from Captain Lawrence regularly, and we offer 3 different selections from Hudson Whiskey at any given time.
The dinner will feature a 5-course menu conceived and prepared by Chef Matthew Garelick (Sous Chef at Wall and Water Restaurant, Chef Consultant of the Manchester Pub). Guests will enjoy a delicious and hearty meal celebrating the holiday season, including courses such as House Duck Prosciutto, Seared Diver Scallops and Slow Roasted Sirloin of Beef (full menu below).
The price for our festive 5-course dinner, including the Hudson Whiskey and Captain Lawrence beer and whiskey pairing, is $60 per person. The two grouped seatings on Saturday December 10, 2011 are 6:00pm and 8:30pm, and reservations could be made through Gusta.com.
