Beer Description
The best local ghost tale deserves a local harvest brew to go with it. For this well balanced spin on a “Pumpkin” style ale in honor of Ol’Big Lizz, we decided to brew with locally harvested butternut squash from Emily’s Produce. The squash was then roasted where a mix of toasted malts along with nutmeg, clove and cinnamon was added producing a subtly spiced harvest ale. Orange-brown in hue, this beer is perfect for those chilly fall evenings and campfire tales.
