Beer Description
Considered a darker, more complex version of a hefeweizen, dunkelweizens benefit from the addition of high temperature kilned malt.
With a bready and slightly roasted character, the specialty German malts are the perfect accent for the distinctive banana and clove flavor of the tradional Bavarian weizen yeast. This unfiltered dark wheat makes a great pairing with the grilled reuben sandwich.
