Beer Description
Our Oak Aged Barleywine has a deep copper color with intense malt flavors and assertive hops for balance.
Fermentation with American ale yeast allows the caramel-flavored malt to shine. Barleywine is fermented for three months before being infused with American-made Oak chips, where it is aged for another three months to create a smooth, luscious beer. While the beer is high in alcohol, the flavors develop and become smooth over time. Aging creates raisin and port wine characteristics in the finished beer.
