Beer Description

With a rich, warm consistency, expect an oaky-alcohol smell on the nose with a dark fruit aroma following.

This collaboration ale is one we’re proud to share with our Swiss friends at BFM! Released individually in the two countries, this one was brewed at Terrapin in September of 2011. Prior to the beer’s release in the fall of 2012, it was beautifully aged on American oak and bourbon. This big barleywine (made with rye, of course) is a perfect match for cool, crisp evenings with friends.
