Oppigårds Oppigards Amarillo

It is now seven years since we began to raise the temperature of vörtpannan for the first time. During these years we have learned from mistakes and the curious stubbornness. This jubileumsöl we test amarillohumlen again. The first time was a year ago when we had a temporary sommaröl in barrels called Summer Twist. Now it’s just amarillo hops continuously humlats during the latter part of the kitchen. We also torrhumlat with amarillo. Flavor is more fruity berry than citrus fruits that result with Centennial and Cascade humling. Amarillo will oxå from the U.S. but we experience it differs markedly from the hop varieties we normally have worked with so far. Alcohol beer (5.9%) and residual sweetness carries readily hop flavors. The color is copper colored and maltgivan also cirak 15 percent wheat malt, which produces a clear and long-lasting bitterness. Bitterness of 50 IBU which is pretty much but karktäristiskt the type of beer that we call American pale ale, but the interface to an American Indian pale ale. This beer comes out February 1st, 2010 at Systembolaget called Oppigårds Amarillo Run!
