Beer Description
This beer is our Plaid Piper Scottish Ale with a small amount of cherry wood smoked malt added to give the beer a noticeable, but not overpowering, smokiness. It is brewed with Scottish Golden Promise Malt, and a little bit of crystal malt and chocolate malt for a rich malt flavor with a hint of roast. It also uses a concentrated boil at the beginning of the wort collection to concentrate the malt flavors and create a toffe/caramel character.
