Beer Description
Our Chocolate Starfish Stout is a rich, full-flavored, full-bodied, imperial chocolate oatmeal stout.
We used copious amounts of chocolate, roast, black patent, and crystal malts; we even added freshly ground cacao nibs to our boil kettle to accentuate the chocolate flavor notes. This delectable brew is overflowing with earthy, bitter-sweet chocolate, anise and Italian espresso flavors. It finishes with a deep, rich, roasted profile and just a touch of lingering bitterness. Velvety on the palate and layered with intense malt flavor and aroma, this beer is not for the faint of heart.
