Fieldwork River Cliff

River Cliff storms through our brewery with a bravado and tenacity rarely seen in Pale Ales. A slew of different British base malts blend together to create a small firestorm of grainy and malty characters, no one malt used more than the other, resulting in what we can only call “subtle complexity.” To celebrate how happy we were with the malt profile on this beer we dumped a ridiculous amount of hops into the fermenter as if they were confetti at a surprise party. Simcoe, Amarillo, and our Fieldwork Dank Blend all meld together producing a very bright and exhilarating grapefruit nose. As the slew of malts and hops jitterbug across your palate notes of fresh pine cut through like a chainsaw, followed by more subdued notes of tangerine, lemon blossom, and Afghani Kush. A large and complex Extra Pale Ale, River Cliff delivers all of the fan favorite characteristics in a hoppy beer, all while remaining extremely complex, crushable, and humble.
