Beer Description
For this batch we used a unique combo of Nelson, a South African hop called J-17, and Hallertau Blanc. These hops lend punchy tropical fruits (passionfruit, pineapple), spicy and herbal notes (pine, lemongrass) and a distinct earthiness.
This IPA is meant to feature the more raw side of hops. We donโt fine or filter it, so more hops stay in suspension, giving it more bitterness and pure hop flavor. For this batch we used a unique combo of Nelson, a South African hop called J-17, and Hallertau Blanc. These hops lend punchy tropical fruits (passionfruit, pineapple), spicy and herbal notes (pine, lemongrass) and a distinct earthiness. We intend to rotate through unique hop varieties for future batches of Partly Cloudy.
