Fieldwork High Seas

High Sea is the lesser known, basement dwelling, couch-surfing, little brother of Sea Farmer, our Sea Salt Grapefruit IPA. Smaller in stature, but every bit as exuberant as his brother, High Sea is also a sea salt laden IPA, however he followed a different path, one resulting in a massive dank hop aroma and loads of orange and tangerine. Specialty grains used liberally create a malt profile akin to the flavor of Saltine cracker crumbles eaten straight from the bag. The hop character is intentionally two-dimensional, aiming for orange/tangerine citrus flavors as well as massive notes of only the stickiest weed that Northern California can grow. Incredibly dry from the barrels of orange juice added in, fairly salty, and infinitely hoppy, High Sea Sea Salt Orange IPA is a great beer for any occasion; but is often best when playing video games in your parents’ basement and paired with a bag of your favorite chips and spliff of Humboldt’s finest.
