Long before “Belgian IPA” became a recognized style, Hommelbier was proving that expressive Belgian yeast and assertive hop character could coexist beautifully. Brewed with 100% hops from Poperinge, Belgium’s historic hop-growing region, it opens with floral herbs, citrus, pear, and light honey before developing notes of orange zest, grapefruit, white pepper, and a subtle cumin-like spice. Crisp carbonation, a lean malt profile, and lingering herbal bitterness make this one of Belgium’s most distinctive hop-forward ales.
